1st Tirana Gas Pipelines Safety Workshop

Albania is entering a gasification era with the construction of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).

Safety is of paramount importance and priority in Gas Sector, globally. The pipeline construction in Albania apart from the significant contribution to the Albanian economy will also introduce the country to the worldwide high safety standards that TAP is committed to. Consequently, it will provide an excellent opportunity for Albania to improve the safety standards overall as a main responsibility towards the environment and the citizens, as the case with the construction of the High and Medium pressure gas system, twenty five years ago, in Greece.

In this framework, the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Greece in Albania, in cooperation with Management Force Group, a specialized Safety Consultant, with a long and deep experience in gas safety, held the following event, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy & Industry:
