IFC: KEDS Project in line with international standards

Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, had a working meeting on 27 March with Per Kjellerhaug, Manager of International Finance Corporation (IFC) for the Balkans, and Elira Sakiqi, IFC representative for Albanian and Kosovo.
IFC expressed its satisfaction with the current implementation of the KEDS privatization project, and emphasized that the project was implemented following highest international standards.
Minister Beqaj also discussed with IFC representatives the possibility of supporting other projects in various sectors, particularly in infrastructure, energy and the financial sector.
Economic Development Minister disclosed some of the more important projects which may be financially supported by IFC.
In addition, Beqaj and IFC representatives expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation, and appreciated the current cooperation.
