4400 tons of smuggled petrol

The General Customs Directory declared that they have discovered a flagrant case of maxi-smuggling of gas in Lezha.

The Customs say through a press release that specialized structures of the General Directory discovered that Ada Petrol Company has brought 4400 tons of gasoil in the market illegally. The oil has been leaded by the customs authorities in Shengjin, owned by Ada Petrol.

But the company says that they have brought it legally in the market, causing a 4 million USD damage.

The General Customs Director, Elsa Spiropali, suspended the Lezhe Customs Director and signed a report against “Ada Petrol” for smuggling.
