HPPs, deadlines violated with 19 months

One day after the National Agency of Natural Resources published a report over the slow progress of the Kalivaci Hydropower Plant construction, the head of the HPP monitoring at this institution declared that another group of experts held another monitoring on 18 February 2013, three days ago.
NANR conclusions were that work done by the Becheti Energy Group is still minimal, even in the same phase of one year ago.
“The construction works at the HPPs are still in a minimal level. We can say that these works are the same of one year ago”, declared Entiol Laco, head of the HPP monitoring sector at the NANR.
The head of the HPP monitoring at the NANR says that the HPP should have started producing on July 17th 2011, and the company has violated the deadlines with 19 months.
“This HPP should have been in service since July 17th 2011. It has a 19 month delay so far”, Laco said.
The conclusions of this monitoring will be published in another report. The NANR experts say that it might be the same with the report of one year ago, in which NANR reports that Becheti Energy Group has not realized most of the works in a time when the HPP should be in its production phase.
