IAP expected to cost 120 million euros

The Ionian Adriatic Pipeline (IAP) would cost around 120 million euros.

This is the conclusion of the Montenegrin Ministry of Economy based on projections from a previous analysis.

Connecting Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Italy to the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, IAP, will benefit Montenegro’s economy and consumers.

TAP pipeline, whose construction was announced in 2013, will transport natural gas from the Shah Deniz gas field in Azerbaijan, through Greece and Albania, and then under the Adriatic Sea to Italy.

TAP could also supply several other countries in the region, including Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

The proposed Ionian-Adriatic Gas Pipeline, IAP, as a part of the TAP pipeline, running for 511 km, would pass through Albania, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia.
