The Trans Adriatic Pipeline Consortium plans to invest around 800 million euros for the period 2017-2020 in Albania, Albania project manager Shkëlqim Bozgo has declared.
In overall, this project is expected to generate 1.5 billion euros in investment in the country.
Not long ago, the consortium stated that only in 2017 the value of the investment reached the figure of about 500 million euros, turning practically the gas pipeline into the locomotive of the Albanian economy during the current year.
The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline is the largest project in our country and region.
The European Union has placed it on the list of its strategic priorities and has repeatedly called for the project to be completed within the deadlines, i.e. by 2020.
Several weeks ago, TAP AG declared that in Albania and Greece were completed two thirds of the construction works.
